 TOUR 2012: Harvard University, Vail International Dance Festival and Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music. Next Stops for Bagpiper and Pianist Cristina Pato

Bagpiper and pianist Cristina Pato will be touring the US this summer. Starting at Harvard University, Cristina will be part of the Faculty of the Summer Institute: Arts and Passion Driven Education. Cristina will be teaching at Harvard the last week of July and then she will travel to Vail (Colorado) to perform at the Vail International Dance Festival invited by the Artistic Director Damian Woetzel. Cristina Pato will be playing piano and bagpipes accompanying the companies and soloists of the festival (including Martha Graham or the NYCity Ballet stars). After Vail, Cristina will be performing at the Cabrillo Fetival of Contemporary Music as part of the West Coast premiere of Osvaldo Golijov's Rose of the Winds, an orchestral piece premiered by Cristina in 2007 with Chicago Symphony.

The last part of the summer Cristina Pato will be at the Basque Country accompanying Basque artist Mikel Urdangarin at the Getxo Festival and the second week of September she will take part of the new project of Richard Saul Wurman the creator of the TED Conference: The WWW Conference
