This was a complex year for us all, but still, I feel incredibly grateful for all the quality time spent with my loved ones and for the time spent reflecting and writing and just being.
While creating this year-in-review video I felt incredibly fortunate for the opportunities I had this year, and also for the ones I lost. I confess that my writing life not only gave me a sense of purpose but also kept me sane, and my teaching life brought me hope and the drive to continue.
My wish for this new year? Love and hope and health and food on everybody’s table…
