Cristina will attend this year’s World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, with Yo-Yo Ma and several fellow Silk Road members. The activities include a concert (January 19th) and a workshop (January 20th):

Yo-Yo Ma is joined by guitarist brothers Sérgio and Odair Assad from Brazil; tabla virtuoso Sandeep Das from India; Russian-born violinist Johnny Gandelsman from the USA; Galician bagpiper Cristina Pato from Spain; pianist Kathryn Stott from the UK; and Sheng (mouth organ) player Wu Tong from China.
In other news, as of January 1st, Cristina is a member of the Artists Committee of the Americans for the Arts organisation, which includes outstanding artists such as Robert Redford, Salman Rushdie, Martin Scorsese or Meryl Streep, just to name a few.
