2020 Starts with New Projects, Concerts and a New Class

Cristina starts the new year joining artist and professor Arturo O’Farrill at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) for his groundbreaking Cross Cultural Perspectives Class (January 14th), touring her new project Invisible(s) in collaboration with Mazz Swift (more info here) with a world premiere of 4 new pieces by Michi Wiancko, Alisa Rose, Dana Lyn and Octavio Vazquez at Carolina Performing Arts (UNC Chapel Hill), and traveling to Florida with the Cristina Pato QUARTET with Julien Labro, Mauricio Zottarelli and Edward Perez for shows at Tallahassee (January 30) and Gainesville (February 1).

The last week of January Cristina will start teaching her new class at NYU as part of her duties as the KJC Chair in Spanish Culture and Civilization. The class, Invisible Music of Northern Spain, is open to both undergraduate and graduate students of the NYU community.
