Cristina Pato is nominated for two Grammy Awards. Sing Me Home, the latest album from Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble has been nominated for a Grammy for Best World Music Album. The album features Galician musicians and Rústica members Davide Salvado, Anxo Pintos and Roberto Comesaña, that Cristina brought to the Silk Road to record the song Cabaliño, a new arrangement of this beautiful traditional Galician song.
On top of that, Morgan Neville’s The Music of Strangers has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Music Film. Cristina has recently been promoting the film in several Italian cities, including Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Naples and Sorrento, and was featured in TV and Radio shows at RAI, the journal La Republica and Sky HD TV.
