This summer Cristina Pato will be presenting her new novel in Vigo (6/27, Libraría Librouro), Santiago de Compostela (6/28, Libraría Couceiro) with writer and general manager of Editorial Galaxia Francisco Castro, A Coruña (6/29, Libraría Berbiriana) with writer Inma López Silva, and Lugo (6/30 O vello cárcere). In addition she will be signing copies of No día do seu enterro (On His Burial Day) at various book fairs in Galicia (Vigo, Coruña, Pontevedra).
In the month of July Cristina will join again pediatrician and musician Lisa M. Wong to co-teach their collaborative seminar “Creativity at the Edge: Health, Music and Community” at Harvard University’s Interfaculty Initiative: Mind Brain Behavior.
On July 30th Cristina will join conductor Marin Alsop and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia Festival to perform Osvaldo Golijov’s “Rose of the Winds”, along with kamancheh player Kayhan Kalhor, klezmer clarinetist David Krakauer and hyper-accordionist Michael Ward-Bergeman.
