After the successful tour with the Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma (you can read the Chicago Tribune review here, and Boston Classical Review here), Cristina sets sail again for her USA Spring Tour that will take her and her band to Washington DC, Frostburg, Sonoma, Santa Barbara and San Antonio.
Cristina will also team up with the Chicago Sinfonietta to present the show Primal Instincts with concerts in Napeville and Chicago. The program includes Emilio Solla’s A Galician Voyage: Concerto for Bagpipes, Piano & Orchestra, commissioned by Cristina for her Gaita and Orchestra Commissioning Project.
In April, Cristina will head for Havana, Cuba to take part in the festival “La Huella de España”.
